FIFAN 2027: Call for entries open

The International Film Festival of Archaeology of Nyon (FIFAN) is launching its call for entries for its 15th edition, which will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2027 in Nyon, in Switzerland.

FIFAN invites female filmmakers from all over the world to submit their projects in the following categories:

• Archaeology films
• Budget-friendly archaeology films
• Immersive experiences

Through its selection, the festival highlights works that explore archaeology, ancient history, and heritage in all its forms. Documentaries, innovative audiovisual creations, and immersive experiences contribute to bringing the past to light, enhancing research, and fostering dialogue between science, culture, and the general public.

The next edition will offer a new opportunity to discover original perspectives on past civilizations, archaeological discoveries, and the challenges of preserving heritage through an international program.

Registration closes: February 28, 2027.
