Christophe Calpini - Original music

Swiss music award winner, drummer, musician, composer and producer, Christophe Calpini has been fomenting projects in Switzerland and beyond for over twenty years. From the pioneering Swiss hip-hop of Silent Majority to the electronica of Mobile in Motion (with Marc Ribot), from the jazz-electro of STADE (BigDada/NinjaTune) and Pierre Audétat to the soul-rock of Dog Almond. A sound sorcerer as meticulous as he is inspired, this hyperactive Vaudois enjoys sculpting sound matter and experimenting with it, as on his latest albums "OKT4V" and "Motion Sickness", which resemble collaborations with several singers and musicians. François VERMOT - Editing

A self-taught filmmaker and photographer born in 1987, François Vermot lives and works in Switzerland. While studying geography at the University of Fribourg, he made his first documentaries - portraits with a particular sensitivity for the places where the people filmed live. He developed an interest in photography and light, observing what happens when nothing happens. Passionate about architecture and urban planning, he focuses on environments that are not idyllically portrayed, or that at first glance appear to be of an everyday nature. He has thus developed works that pay homage to the banality of a place, to the reality of a setting and its reverse side. To find out more, click here: www.francois-vermot.ch
