Each film is selected on the basis of a careful assessment of its scientific quality, the rigor of its sources, the clarity of its content and its ability to convey archaeological knowledge in an accessible and structured way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official competition rewards the most outstanding works, from large-scale productions to low-budget films. It is run by a jury of experts: archaeologists, filmmakers, producers, journalists and cultural professionals. This diversity guarantees a balanced assessment of scientific requirements, production quality and the relevance of the subjects tackled. Each edition brings together committed personalities capable of taking a sensitive, critical look at the productions in competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 edition of FIFAN inaugurated a new prize dedicated to immersive experiences. Through works in virtual or extended reality, audiences were able to explore sites, objects and stories from the past in a new way.
