{"id":376,"date":"2025-05-18T15:06:45","date_gmt":"2025-05-18T13:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hawai.li\/fifan\/?page_id=376"},"modified":"2025-05-18T15:08:13","modified_gmt":"2025-05-18T13:08:13","slug":"reglement-2025","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fifan.ch\/en\/reglement-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulation 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 14th edition of the Festival International du Film d'Arch\u00e9ologie de Nyon (FIFAN) will take place in Nyon (Switzerland) from September 2 to 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE I - Aims<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival aims to bring archaeology to the general public through film. Its role is to promote this medium by rewarding the best recent archaeological films and immersive experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE II - Organization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival is organized by the Association du Festival International du Film d'Arch\u00e9ologie de Nyon and the Mus\u00e9e romain de Nyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE III - Participation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival is open to all recent films and immersive experiences with an archaeological or ancient history theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of programming is based on archaeological, scientific, ethical, narrative and cinematographic criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected films and immersive experiences take part in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE IV - Competition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected films and immersive experiences take part in the public screening and in the competition for one of the prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>French is the language of the Festival. Subtitling of films is provided if necessary. In this case, the complete text (commentaries, interviews, subtitles, etc.) must be sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE V - Jury<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To judge the films, the jury will be made up of 5 people, including 2 archaeologists and 2 audiovisual professionals. They will judge the scientific validity of the information contained in the films, and the way in which it is processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will award the following prizes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Best Scientific Film Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Award for Best Low-Budget Film<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Festival Jury Prize<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Audience Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A special prize, the Prix des gymnasiens, will be awarded by students from the Gymnase de Nyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury may also award special mentions if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To judge the immersive experiences, the 5-person jury, including 3 experts in immersive experiences and audiovisual creation, will assess the projects' ability to deliver an engaging, immersive experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes will be awarded to the best immersive productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners may mention in their credits: \"Awarded at the Festival International du Film d'Arch\u00e9ologie de Nyon, Switzerland\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE VI - Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate in the festival selection, directors and designers must submit an application by filling out the form on the website.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fifan.ch\/en\/\">fifan.ch<\/a>.  Entries must be received no later than April 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a teaser of the film exists, we'd be grateful if you'd send us a file to promote the festival program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Productions received for selection, unless otherwise agreed with the producer, will remain in the festival archives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excerpts from the selected films may be broadcast on in-house social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Fifan.ch website) or during any television programs featuring the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected films may be shown at decentralized non-profit events dealing with archaeological films (museums, archaeological or historical societies, schools, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The e-mail contact address is :&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:co*****@***an.ch\" data-original-string=\"tUTHTsm+OmAZaKbRKAqIOA==dd09SEo9Q3djjtwWZpATQ1SRG6+1mQZo0tHmULWvUwLLAk=\" title=\"This contact has been encoded by Anti-Spam by CleanTalk.
