Dedicated to professionals and open to the public, they question the contemporary challenges of heritage preservation and enhancement, while exploring the potential of audio-visual and digital tools to transform research and dissemination. They aim to foster synergies between disciplines, support innovation and strengthen links between professionals, to contribute to a better transmission of our cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme 1 - Between scientific rigor and narrative: what balance for documentary films?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This theme explores the tensions and trade-offs faced by directors of science documentaries. How can we reconcile the need for scientific rigor with the narrative imperatives of an attractive script? How far can we go in terms of simplification or dramatization without betraying the content? Between the search for sensationalism, the imperatives of communication, and the mission of popularization, this session explores the multiple - and sometimes contradictory - injunctions that structure the production of documentary films with a scientific or heritage vocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme 2 - Designing and producing a documentary: between intention, feasibility and financing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This theme explores the dynamics of documentary filmmaking from its earliest stages: how does a film idea come about? Is it the scientific or cultural content that drives the project, or the production and financing logics that guide the choice of themes?
