{"id":162,"date":"2025-04-10T09:49:04","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T07:49:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fifan.localhost\/?post_type=edition&#038;p=162"},"modified":"2025-05-27T18:45:43","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T16:45:43","slug":"edition-2021","status":"publish","type":"edition","link":"https:\/\/fifan.ch\/en\/editions\/edition-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Edition 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PECULIAR SITUATION, PECULIAR EDITION!&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TRUE TO ITS BIENNIAL TRADITION, FIFAN HELD ITS 12TH EDITION ONLINE.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Trailer FIFAN 2021\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iRZeXuvddAc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As with every year, the festival offered a glimpse of the latest archaeological research and a chance to travel from civilization to civilization through time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2021 program focused on glacial archaeology, a new field of research born over twenty years ago and destined to disappear as glaciers melt. Two films presented this discipline, complemented by exclusive interviews and reports produced for the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A session was presented from the Mus\u00e9e Bible+Orient in Fribourg, partner of the festival, during which two films were shown. The first dealt with the excavations carried out in Palestine in search of the Ark of the Covenant. It was followed by an exclusive interview with Thomas R\u00f6mer, biblical scholar and administrator at the Coll\u00e8ge de France.
