Tuesday 2 September - 7pm
The Festival opens with an evening devoted to one of the great archaeological enigmas of ancient Greece: the quest for the sanctuary of Artemis at Amarynthos. Part scientific investigation, part human adventure and part recent revelation, this two-part evening combines a screening of the film Artemis, the lost temple by Sébastien Reichenbach, and a discussion with the director and archaeologist Samuel Verdan about the latest discoveries on the site. A convivial aperitif offered by the Ville de Nyon will close this first evening of the festival.
