Naachtun, the Mayan kingdom revealed

Archaeologists and explorers thought they had discovered most of the remains of the Mayan civilization. But a new technology, capable of detecting structures buried beneath the thick vegetation, has revealed the presence of several thousand constructions that no-one had even imagined existed! The city of Naachtun is of particular interest to a team of CNRS researchers. The exploration zone is immense and extremely hostile, but the archaeologists now know where to look.
