Receding glaciers pose major challenges for archaeologists. This documentary film was shot in Valais and Berne, notably at the Loetschenpass archaeological site, where 3,000-year-old artefacts have come to light as a result of melting ice. It highlights geological and environmental changes in high mountain areas by bringing together the work of archaeologists and British artist Sarah Casey. She creates heat-sensitive drawings that react to environmental conditions by amplifying the invisible elements that affect ice and remains, such as heat, wind and erosion.
