Terapixel panorama of the Battle of Murten

As part of its 2025 edition, FIFAN has inaugurated a brand new section dedicated to immersive experiences, to complement its selection of documentary films. In keeping with its spirit of exploration and experimentation, the festival highlights digital formats that are reinventing the way history, archaeology and heritage are told. 

In this special edition, Terapixel Panorama of the Battle of Murten was presented out of competition. The work could be visited freely, without reservation, from September 2 to 6. Guided tours were also available on request.

Finally, FIFAN was honored to welcome Prof. Sarah Kenderdine, director of EPFL's Laboratory of Experimental Museology (eM+), who is in charge of the project. She gave a detailed presentation of Terapixel Panorama of the Battle of Murten at a conference given in English, September 3 from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m..
